Beecell, Talasim liven mobile usage
Jordanian mobile value-added services solution provider Beecell has recently signed a partnership deal with Talasim.com aiming to provide increasingly entertaining mobile content to its subscribers in the region.
The agreement falls inline with Beecell’s mission to continuously provide innovative services to all its clients. Beecell is now offering mobile users in the Middle East the opportunity to access Talasim.com’s entertaining material via MMS and WAP downloads to their mobile handsets in addition giving the chance to the user to interact with the website by submitting their photos they capture by sending to a special number.
“Talasim.com content is among the most interesting and entertaining mobile content that we have launched,” Beecell’s CEO, Mr Bashar Hantouli stated. “It truly brings good cheer to the subscriber whenever he or she receives these messages.

Nader Group adopts VTS
Nader Group has installed a high quality Vehicle Tracking System (VTS) to follow up on the distribution work of its companies’ vehicles. HBTF makes JD94.71m in net after-tax profit
The financial statement of the Housing Bank for Trade and Finance (HBTF) for the year 2006 shows a rise in gross profit by JD30.1 million to JD203.7 million, over 2005’s level of JD173.6 million, an increase of 17 percent.
The main factors responsible for this increase are attributed to high returns in net interests and commissions, which rose by JD49.9 million to JD160.7 million in 2006.
The bank also benefited from the sale of financial assets and foreign currencies, which returned JD22.86 million.
After deducting the expenditure account, the statement shows a net after tax profit of JD94.71 million, an increase of 28 percent over 2005.
Assets rose to JD4.1 billion from JD3.2 billion in 2005, while the loans and credits account showed an increase of 26 percent to JD1,589.5 million.
On the liabilities side, the statement shows total deposits growing to JD2.98 billion, up 21 percent over 2005, representing a share market of 16.3 percent.
Total shareholders equity rose to JD834.9 million from JD439.9 million in 2005, due mainly to a raise in capital from JD100 million to JD252 million.

We also believe Royal Jordanian adds considerable value to oneworld, strengthening its network significantly in the world’s fastest growing region for air travel demand.
