Pioneer Feras Printing Press in Amman

It was during IPEX 2002 in Birmingham when Bader Safadi, Owner and General Manager of Feras Printing Press, based in Amman/Jordan, signed the order for the first Heidelberg Prosetter 74 in the Middle East.

With this, Feras Printing Press starts a new trend being the first printer in Jordan to have a CtP solution alongside their SM 74-4H and various other Heidelberg machines.

Founded in 1987, within short time Feras Printing Press has managed to become one of the leading printing houses in Jordan – starting with a Heidelberg TOK and rapidly growing with multicolor machines such as the GTOVPS and the SM 74-4H. “Their purchase of the Prosetter is their latest effort in providing their customers with the latest technology in Prepress as well as in Press and Finishing”, reports marketing man Mutaz Al-Nazer from Jordan. “Feras Printing Press started their Prepress department with the Linotronic 260 which they purchased in 1993, followed by a Quasar in 1997, as well as a Topaz scanner and a Primescan 7100.”

Reaching their goal of being a leader in the commercial printing sector in Jordan has been a result of Heidelberg’s technical support, states Bader Safadi, and considers his relationship with Heidelberg as a life-long partnership. He considers the company as his consultant in developing his production capabilities in order to meet the increased market demands on quality and quick deliveries, as he underlines. “The Prosetter 74 is a natural step for us as demand on quality and shorter delivery time increases”, Bader Safadi says, “we strongly believe that CtP is the future and that our future is better Market Stories PIONEER FERAS PRINTING PRESS IN AMMAN First Prosetter for the Middle East It was during IPEX 2002 in Birmingham when Bader Safadi, Owner and General Manager of Feras Printing Press, based in Amman/Jordan, signed the order for the first Heidelberg Prosetter 74 in the machines protected with Heidelberg.”
