int@j Organizes a ‘Public Relations’ Workshops for its Member Companies Amman- July 14, 2003

int@j organized a series of ‘Public Relations’ Training Workshop for its member companies led by Spot On PR, during the period of May 21st – July 9th, 2003, at the Jordan Intercontinental Hotel.

The PR training consisted of a series of workshops, each tackling different key issues in PR ranging from ways to avoid PR disasters to ways of creating appealing press kits.

These workshops were specifically tailored to meet the demands of the ICT industry, as well as to develop effective PR strategies that will enhance int@j Member Company’s business. The PR workshops came about as a result of a survey that was conducted by int@j to its Members. It appears that Public Relations and Communications training are among the top of the ‘most-demanded training’ list for most companies. More and more companies are realizing that the only way to advance their business is through the right PR and Communications campaigns, and as the Jordan ICT industry is burgeoning, the need to build such skills becomes necessary to help position Jordan’s ICT industry favorably in the global arena.

The workshops were a huge success according to the feedback received from the participants, who claimed that the sessions were useful as well as entertaining. ‘Certificates of Attendance’ were granted to the participants who attended the full PR course.

The Training team consisted of Mr. Alexander McNabb, Group Account Director Spot On PR, Ms. Rachel Harnden, Account Manager, Spot On Jordan, and Ms. Lena Kefelian, Account Executive, Spot On Jordan.
