|Jordan Telecommunications Company Employees’ Provident Fund Chooses Atlas to Manage its Portfolio of Securities
|The Jordan Telecommunications Company Employees’ Provident Fund (“JTP”) signed, on Wednesday, August 13th, an investment management agreement with Atlas Investment Group (“Atlas”) to construct and manage a portfolio of securities for JTP on a discretionary basis. Mr. Raslan Deiranieh, Chairman of JTP’s Board of Trustees, signed the investment management agreement on behalf of JTP, and Mr. Omar Masri, Managing Director, signed on behalf of Atlas.
Jordan Telecommunications Company (“JTC”) (www.jordantelecom.jo/Home/Home.asp) commenced its operations under this name in January 1997. JTC is considered the largest operator and provider of the fixed telecom services in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan due to its administration of the basic telecommunications infrastructure in the Kingdom, which forms the base of the fixed telecommunication services.
