|Sheikh Mohammed to Present eAchievement Leader Award to Jordan’s King Abdullah II
|HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to present Arabian Business Magazine eAchievement Leader Award to HM King Abdullah II of Jordan in Dubai on October 20th in recognition of Jordan’s role in providing ‘regional inspiration’ for Arab technology sector, Jordan and Dubai confirmed as partners in promoting Arab ICT
Arabian Business Magazine’s prestigious eAchievement Leader Award is to be presented to King Abdullah II of Jordan at the annual Arabian Business eAchievement Awards Ceremony, held in parallel with Gitex, on October 20th 2003.
The Awards Ceremony, to be held under the patronage of HH Sheikh Mohammed, is an annual event held during the GITEX exhibition and organized by ITP, the leading regional magazine publisher in the Middle East.
“In what is set to be an evening that will mark a number of remarkable successes, this award in particular recognizes the profound achievements of His Majesty. He has truly led a visionary path to driving opportunity and growth for the Jordanian people through the use of technology,” said Walid Akawi, Publishing Director, ITP.
Previous winners of Arabian Business awards have included HRH Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal, Jordanian Minister of ICT Dr. Fawaz Zu’bi and distinguished leaders and achievers from all sectors throughout the Arab world.

The winners of the other Awards to be presented, including the eBusinessman of the Year, eEntrepreneur of the Year, the eInitiative Award for both the private and public sector and the Young eAchiever Award will be announced on the night. The winners are selected by a distinguished panel of judges who include Gilbert Lacroix of Intel, Emre Berkin of Microsoft, Joseph Hanania of Hewlett Packard, Husam Dajani of Oracle, Mubarak bin Fahad of Dubai World Trade Centre, Samer Shaar of IBM, Ali Baghdadi of Aptec, Steve Lockie of TechData, Ammar Alul of Canon, Michael Collins of Dell, Hani Harik of Emirates Computers and the Editors of Arabian Business Magazine.
