|An entrepreneur interested in a new social venture
|United Group (UG) team has been working closely with the Nour Al-Hussein Foundation, on a pro-bono project focused on assisting Women Enterprises.
UG's team has developed an innovative idea to assist Women Enterprises to sell their products in developed markets.
The project was selected as a finalist at the prestigious World Bank Development Marketplace Competition from 1,400 other projects from around the World. Recently the project won acclaim at the Santa Clara University Social Benefits Incubator, and was awarded a full scholarship to attend the incubator's program. The program is taking place in June, and will give the project leader an opportunity to network with other social entrepreneurs and venture capitalists.
UG's team is looking for a leader to take this entrepreneurial project on, as it is growing beyond a small idea, into a viable commercial opportunity. Any interested entrepreneurs are urged to contact Mr. Faris Gammoh at e-mail: (email@example.com), with a resume, and a show of commitment to such a project.

About LAWEIN (www.lawein.com):
Launching Women Enterprises Into the e-Nabled market space (LAWEIN - Arabic: Where To?) is an innovative tool that will provide small Women Enterprises an opportunity to access large and profitable export-oriented retail markets, that were previously unavailable to the women enterprises due to their small size, and fragmented nature.
LAWEIN joins advanced technologies in supply chain management, portal technology, and marketing strategy all common-place concepts in the developed retail markets, and provides it to small Women Enterprises. By aggregating the handicraft supplies, LAWEIN assists these fragmented enterprises to achieve economies of scale, on sales and marketing, purchasing, and sourcing expenses.
The centralized sales and marketing organization, also provides advanced retail markets with one front to deal with all the genuine handicraft manufacturers, a requirement for every retail chain that wishes to reduce its costs of dealing with several fragmented suppliers.
LAWEIN is a joint partnership between the private sector and non-governmental organization, that provides for a seamless integration of private sector best practices and NGO developmental ideals. It is an aggregator of genuine handicrafts, produced by underprivileged villagers, and women enterprises, that allows these stakeholders to export their products to more profitable markets.
