|JOFREX - First French Exhibition Launches in Middle East
|One of the most important business building initiatives for Jordan and Middle East
Under the Patronage of His Majesty King Abdullah II, JOFREX 2005, the first French exhibition of products, equipments and technologies in the region is officially launched by the French Embassy and its Economic Department in Jordan and the Franco Jordanian Business Club (CAFRAJ).
JOFREX will be held in the heart of Amman (Zara Expo) on 11-14 May of the current year. JOFREX is a unique opportunity to boost France’s growing business relationships in the Middle East in an aim to combine French skills with local know-how.
Jordan, The gateway to the Middle East, is seen as the ideal venue for the exhibition. JOFREX is acknowledged as one of the most important business building initiatives for Jordan and the Middle East. It aims at joining forces between enterprising, highly skilled French companies and their Jordanian and Middle Eastern partners to develop new products and open up and expand new markets.
The French Ambassador to Jordan, H. E. Jean-Michel CASA, expressed France’s government full support for JOFREX, and added: “JOFREX retains topmost support levels, on both governmental and private sector sides. The French government envisions a great opportunity in JOFREX to develop France’s business partnerships and economical endeavors in the region. The government will facilitate all support channels to introduce JOFREX with the best fitting presence in this strategic part of the world”
“JOFREX offers a unique and powerful shop window in the heart of Amman. It will play its part in expanding Jordanian and Middle Eastern economies,” said Dr. Abdalla ENSOUR, President of CAFRAJ. “It has a clear and singular mission: that is for French and Jordanian-Middle Eastern counterparts to open up new markets and develop new products in an effort to expand their markets for existing brands and services.”
Jordanian and Middle Eastern companies will enjoy a valuable opportunity at JOFREX to share in world class skills and technologies that have been proven in France.
Only French companies will show case their products, equipments and technologies at the exhibition. The wide range of sectors will include manufacturing, technology, industrial, institutional and consumer services. Around 120 -150 French companies are expected to exhibit at JOFREX, with a forecast of 5 000-10 000 visitors to attend and explore JOFREX diversified industries and trade agencies.
