Ferass
Printing Press was established in the year 1987, as specialized commercial press
for paper printing, with a two floor work space area of 180 square meters.
It began its printing services with a simple letters press “Teebo”. In the year
1989 we added the offset printing system, we started working with Heidelberg 46-1
color, and because it was necessary to be linked with the computer, we founded
a special department for the pre-print operation.
Now is one of the largest and most advanced printing press in Jordan, with the
latest machines and equipments. Because of our consistency to be professional
and recognized in the local market, we renewed the computer department and added
the “Image Setter” and processor & the “Topos Scanner”.
In 1994 we added the Heidelberg-52 Stream Feeder printing machine, which gave
the press better production quality and the press added a new machine the “Quasar
Lino type – hell” in the year 1998.
The beginning of the new millenium, was the real break through for Ferass Printing
Press, by opening its new building in its new location in Amman with a work space
area of 800 square meter plus adding a new machine, the Heidelberg speed master
74-4-H-P with the dryer IR, which was the 1st one in the country.
This year we replaced the previous paper cutter (Polar_ Size 92), with a new one
with the same quality but for a bigger size ( size 115 - model 2001), and to add
to this Ferass added a new device ( Primscan Drum Scanner ) to scan pictures with
a more developed technology which is considered a base for special printing, and
by adding this device to the computer department it became one of the strongest
printing press with complete capabilities in color separation, picture scanning
and all the services combined for the pre-print operation.
Lastly, we can’t ignore acknowledging that all the above mentioned was done to
reach complete client satisfaction. |
